Standard Conditions of Legal Service
These Terms of Engagement ("Terms") govern the professional relationship between Avnish S & Associates ("The Firm") and the Client. By instructing the Firm to proceed with any legal work, you agree to be bound by these Terms, unless otherwise modified by a specific Engagement Letter.
The Firm agrees to provide legal consultancy, secretarial, and representation services as specifically requested by the Client. The scope is strictly limited to the matters detailed in the written correspondence or Engagement Letter.
Fees will be charged based on the complexity of the matter, time spent, and expertise required. The billing model (Fixed Fee, Retainer, or Hourly) will be agreed upon prior to the commencement of work.
The Client is responsible for reimbursing all actual expenses incurred during the execution of services, including but not limited to government filing fees, stamp duty, travel, and courier charges.
Invoices are due upon receipt. Failure to settle invoices within 15 days may result in the suspension of services.

We adhere to strict confidentiality protocols. All information shared by the Client is treated as privileged. However, the Firm may disclose information if required by law or a competent court order. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed data handling practices.
The Firm’s liability for any claim arising out of the engagement shall be limited to the professional fees paid by the Client for that specific assignment. The Firm shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
Either party may terminate the engagement by providing written notice. Upon termination:
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of this engagement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
